TAFFETA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and those awful crinolines underneath feel like sandpaper even if you wear stockings. They ought to be banned!!!!

I wore satin. Although I know it's kinda the norm, and most dresses seem to come in this material, I think that the silk charmeuse is very pretty and very comfortable. Plus it has a nice flowy look to it.

i second this! i had to talk one of my best friends down from a TEAL taffeta dress with BLACK LACE over the bodice.
