depends. if i'm at work i get it before opening the flood gates because i usually can't go right away bc i'm pee-shy if other people are in there.

at home i honestly don't know for sure but i think i get it after im finished.

If I'm like all super-squat because the place is nasty and I must hover, then I need the TP in my hand first.

BUT if I'm just using the toilet seat cover or TP on the seat, then I can sit and grab the TP while I'm in mid-stream.

when im out-i always take it before. i think it saves a lot of time. plus who wants to be stuck with no tp and find out at the end.

True, but I always check first, before I even start to unzip. Because by then, it might be too late.
