Ours are ringing bells instead of throwing anything. Our church doesn't allow flowers, rice, bird seed and I don't like the idea of bubbles.

Just FYI - anyone having the ringing bells as you and FH walk out of church - make sure you tell your videographer NOT to dubb over that footage with music. My friend had the bells and it was so nice, but when she got the video back the video guy dubbed this bad music over it - you couldnt hear the bells..or any ither noise..just the music and lame effects.

Rose petals. My church told me that they don't have anyone right now t o clean up after us so they would appreciate it iof I didn't use the flowers before the ceremony (flowergirl) or outside. Yeah right, my one wedding day and I am 'donating' enough so I am doing it.

I bought two bunches (2 dozen each) from Costco the night before and put them in the fridge - my mom plucked them that morning.

We did bubbles...it was between bubbles and rose petals. Bubbles worked great. Came out in all pics and on video too!

I think we'll do mini-cow bells. It's something my mom and I have talked about long before I was engaged. I LOVE cows, and have a mini-cow bell painted white with black spots (like a cow ). Who knows, I could change my mind.

I'm doing bubbles too. Our church did not want us doing anything else. I'm worried about the bubbles though b/c my BM' are wedding red satin dresses. I wonder if the bubbles fall on the dresses if they would stain them.

Church allows Birdseed, bubbles, butterflies and doves.

In Dec. butterflies and Doves ae out so we chose birdseed figuring it'll be a tough time of year for the neighborhood birds to find food anyway, might as well help 'em out.
