how much blood do they take from you? It's not nearly as much as when you give blood, right?

Usually its a couple of vials - should not be like what they take when you give blood

It depends on what kind of tests they are running. It won't be as much as if you donated though. It is usually couple of vials worth. (every time I have ever had it done)

Its not that much, a few vials...
Last week they took 6 from my and I was fine.
You should be feeling ok to go the the gym...drink some OJ right after and you will be good to go.

I had a workup done a couple years ago and they took 17 vials. So it depends on how much they take. I was lucky I could drive after that nevermind hitting the gym. Use your discretion. If you feel funny, like you are in a haze skip the gym. Better safe then sorry.
