No, you don't have to list the number. You can always add more - my hotel rep told me to stay in touch with her once my invites were out, and she would let me know if the rooms were getting taken up ...
I hated this part. My hotel would only block 10 rooms at a time. Well my guests took for ever and alol 10 finally filled up and then I tried to block more and they were out. So now my guests have to wait till the 18th of June to try to get rooms b/c other weddings took them! (Understand kind of confussing.) The hotel room booking was prob the worst part of wedding plannign ever.

At least you guys can block rooms... Not one hotel here (Ohio) will block rooms for me....

Nope I only had blocked off 10 rooms and they told me at the hotel to just stay in touch and they would add more as needed.
I did have to make my own hotel cards since they didn't have any to give me- if you need a sample it's posted in my album.
