When you look at the results of an OPK...

When you look at the results of an OPK...

...and you see those 2 little lines coming up...how many of you wish it was actually a HPT you are taking?

I think of this every single time I use an OPK....I just wish it was a BFP on a HPT!!!!!!!

I use the clearblue monitor so they don't have that...

I could only imagine how hard it is to see that.

I know DH 'swears' he sees a very very faint line every month - I feel so bad when he's turning those tests around trying to see it in every light...

I now use the clearblue monitor also - but I've used OPK sticks in the past and YES it is exciting when you see those 2 LINES but then realize that damn , its not a HPT

Donna your DH sounds just so cute ..how sweet and suppiortive he is. After all the times I test during my 2WW, I don't even tell DH about them all.. or else he would think I'm crazier than he already thinks

Not to mention, he is the voice of reason in this duo and I think that he doesn't want me to get my hopes up unnecessarily

That is so true!!
The first time I used the OPK and got the lines I was so excited. It was like I was taking a hpt test and got a BFP.

The first time I used one I got a little excited about it and it took me a minute to realize that two lines didn't mean the same thing!

Now I'm better about it, but I still wish it was an HPT instead!!

Thanks! I think I hold back because I take it more personally - he's always the glass is 1/2 full type and says don't worry we'll just try again next time...
