When you searched for BM dresses...Where did you start your search???
Did you start looking in magazines first? Online? Or just look in a bridal store?

Lol, I'm actually doing that right now! I'm looking online cause then I can put in key words and search for what I know I want.

I don't seem to find anything that I really liked in magazines. It's been harder to find BM dresses than my own gown.

Try on line then. The knot has TONS of dresses. I'm doing both, if i see a pic in a magazine, I tear it out. If I find a gown that I like, than I go on that designer's web site to look for BM dresses.

I looked at the knot to get an idea of cost. I picked three moderate/low cost designers and then asked my BMs to look at their websites. I told them the color I wanted and they told me the designer they liked best. My MOH found a few dresses she really liked and I had them try them on to pick the one we all liked.

I looked in magazines & actually had my heart set on one...When I went to the bridal salon that I knew I was using, they didn't carry the line anymore...So my MOH & I picked a dress right off the rack...Luckily everyone loved it & that is what we ordered

I used the Knot first, it made things easier! Narrowed by price, or designer... perfect. I also tore out any pics out of the magazines that I liked.. then I went to the stores.

I am using the internet and magazines to get ideas...but we are having the dresses custom made. The good thing about the internet is that you can also get an idea of price before you fall in love with something that will have your BP working two jobs to afford!
The BP style has been SOOOOO much harder for me to find than it was to find my dress (one store, third dress!!!) but then again, you are talking about a couple of women with different body types, skin tones, and WAY TOOO MANY OPINIONS!!

Magazine and online. Then, when we went to a few different stores, I specifically asked them to have the dresses I was interested in there. Of course, we found a dress I hadn't even considered in my searches through magazines and online.

I looked onlone and in magazines I have found some things that I like but I am just gonna goto the shops have the girls look and see what they come up with thats all

I started looking in magazines and then went to Davids Bridal because they carry seperates. It let me see different styles together and I got to mix and match nicely.

I checked dresses out on the knot and modern bride but in the end I saw the dress in Bridal Reflections.

I really like Bill Levkoff dresses. He has alot of nice ones IMO. I'm just trying to find one that fits all body shapes. The best bet would be to have my girls try them on.

It has been hard finding BM dresses since all 4 of my BM are very different sizes and shape. No offense to anyone please. But how do I cover up the parts that pop out to much with how do I pick something that I know wouldn't flatter some also.

When I was trying on dresses...I tried on a few BM dresses too. It was just me and my mom and I found a BM dress that I liked.

I am a bridesmaid for my cousins wedding....so when I would try on dresses for her...I kept my wedding in mind the whole time.....finding my BM dress in the meantime. Plus two of my cousins were able to try the dress on the spot since they are in my BP. I thought it was pretty convenient. That was just my situation. I did a lot of searching online.
