I try really hard - I can't do it. Even if I know that I should (like the ipod thread - I know I'm getting one, can't bring myself to read).

I purposely now space out my posts so that people's eyes won't roll to the back of their heads b/c of the length.

Plus, my attention span is like that of a goldfish.

I have to be really bored to read the long posts without any line breaks. The ones that are just one long paragraph are horrendous!!!

Didn't they ever take a writing class in school??

I often do the line breaks to help out the eyes a little. I also agree about pics, ESP in reviews!!!

remember, the first step is to admit that you have a problem.

i've been guilty of doing it a few times.

the funny thing is, the one time i did my very best to keep it short and sweet... someone told me in an fm that i wasn't making sense

I've been accused of that in posts and even work emails.

I really try to curb it. I re-read the post/email again and take out anything that doesn't absolutely need to be said.

I've also been given some good advice - if you 'shoot your load' in the first post, there's less room for discussion.

But if you leave something out intentionally, like your opinion of the subject, there's more room for discussion.

Then again, half of you will never get to read this because it's 5 paragraphs and your ADD kicked in in the first paragraph. :p
