I sent my taxes and my friend is telling me I was suppose to send the original w2. I didn't. I sent a copy b/c we were doing the mortgage app at the time and they wanted the original?
Help me out is she right?

Yes, send the original. The mortgage co. should accept a photo copy. Ours did.

don't worry about it! copy or original as long as you have a W-2 attached it's fine. the IRS always said no copies since they can be doctored, but the IRS gets copies from your employers, so if anything doesn't match, they'll know right away.
