I asked 'her' about this and she said that only in wedding etiquette books does it say that 'two thousand and ten' is proper. She said either way....

I thought it sounded better with the 'and' but apparently both grammaticians and mathematicians agree that there is no 'and' in there. So we did not put the and

two thousand ten is apparently the 'correct' way....so i guess i'll be doing that
