Did you go and try it on right away? Keep it at the shop or take it home? Mine is in but I don't think first fitting is until July (3 months before). They said it's in storage- should I get it or something?

Try it on right away to make sure they ordered the right size and also make sure it is perfect (ex no beads missing).

I tried it on right away, and left it there throught all the alterations and until the day before the wedding.
I would definately go & get it out of storage for you to make sure everything is what you wanted!

I went to go see mine to make sure that it was the right gown and went for my first fitting a month later (I went Feb 14th for my first fitting). Having my second fitting July 10th.

I went immediately to see and try on. I wanted to make sure it wasn't flawed in anyway, stained or needed to be sent back. God forbid!
I actually went to 'visit my dress' about 3 times before I finally took photos and left it alone!

My dress came in recently and even though I am not going to start fittings until July, I went to go see it and try it on right away. Thank god I did, because it has a little mark on it so it had to be sent back to the designer. If the designer can't get the mark out, I am getting a whole new dress.

When my dress came in the first time, it was the WRONG DRESS! Save yourself possible heartache later by checking in on it now.
Same happened to me! Deffinetly go check it out and make sure its right!

Same for me - it was the wrong color. Definitely go check it out and try it on.
