I have no idea what to do, but I thought when you have your dress bustled, the back doesn't touch the floor at all...
Don't get me wrong, it looks REALLY nice having a bit of it draping on the floor, and I called the bridal salon (I didn't realize that the dress touched the floor a bit until I looked at the pics in the car, I was in and out of the salon so quick today) and they said that because my train is so long, this does happen and is fine.
WHat did everyone else do? (Keep in mind, the bustle is justed pinned in these photos, right now they are color coding and making the ties)

I love the look of the bustle but I don't think it should drag on the floor - definitely not that much.

Thanks!
TO tell you all the truth, when it was first bustled last week, I'm positive it didn't drag on the floor...this week I tried the dress on, and the bustle wasn't done, but they left the pins in...I think the bottom pins fell out from last week.
I'm calling them tomorrow and telling them to bustle the bottom.
Do you think I'll have to go all the way back for them to do this??

I don't think so....especially if it is just from the pins slipping. I would definately call them & let them know that you are concerned that the bustle seemed lower than in your previous fitting.

Don't let it drag, its very annoying as the day goes on. Your dress is so beautiful, what a gorgeous bride you're going to be.

mine still dragged a tiny bit, but I actually liked the effect of it 'swooshing' (is that a word? lol) around on the floor....
I know...I'm a dork.
ps - your dress is so absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I can not wait to see pic's of the final product!

Your dress is amazing!!! Please tell me who the designer is and where you got it!!!
BTW -- I like the little bit of train your bustle leaves but maybe it should drag just a tiny bit less.
ETA: Nevermind about the designer -- I saw it in your profile -- I should have known it was a Pucchi, I LOVE Pucchi gowns!

Your dress is BEAUTIFUL!!! Just like a true queen!! I think that the bustle should be a little bit higher. Either way it is still a beautiful dress.

Mine dragged just a little bit too and it looked pretty but let me tell you sooo many people stepped on it. My dress had two layers and the top layer was extremely delicate and very detailed (thus very heavy) - compounded with I add extra length to the train - caused many problems. Three times the bottons popped off the delicate layer of the bustle and I had to get them sewed back on. Then one person stepped so hard and mad a holei n the dress with the heel. Who would have thought just a little drag would cause that but it really annoyed me and upset me that it ripped. In hindsight, I would have made sure nothing hit the ground.

Maybe since you lost weight this had an affected the bustle? The dress is too pretty to have someone step on it.

My MOH got married in June and her bustle was left dragging. It made for a very difficult situation and the poor thing almost didn't come out of the suite for her first dance! DEFINITELY have it fixed.
