is there a song that picks you up immediately?

Corny as it sounds, I loooove Carole King.

When I'm having a lousy day, I search for 'Beautiful' on my iPod.

My parents always used to listen to the Tapestry album, and it brings back great memories of my childhood.

I asked FH this, and he said 'The Thong Song'. boys.

When I am feeling really crappy, I put on my Love Actually soundtrack and the first song is a remake of the Pointer Sisters 'Jump'. I can't help but laugh and feel better because I remember Hugh Grant dancing to it in the movie.

I don't think there's any one song that cheers me up. Yesterday, nothing would work...weird Al helped a bit though!

Why surprised? He's pretty funny! It's DH's fault..he's the weird al fan and i put all the cds on my ipod. We saw him in concert a few years ago - it was great!
