I already called my church, and they only book a year in advance, so he said to call back in the beginning of Feb. 2008.

From what I've heard you should book your church before you book your RH otherwise the church gets insulted.

also, the only reason i booked the rh already is someone in my family is friends of the owner, so i dont need to leave a deposit down.

thanks everyone. i think im going to wait until october , then it will be 2 yrs in advance, and see if they book. if not i guess ill have to wait until they do book. .....im just nervous about not getting the date i want, but i dont see many weddings at this church anyway, its close to my house and theres rarely weddings there. so ill keep my fingers crossed everything will go smoothly with the date i want.

If they tell you they only book 1 yr in advance... get that sh*t in writing and then on that day as soon as the church opens, you are right there to book it Neurotic maybe? but at least you wont get screwed!

We are getting married at RH so I am not sure...but I would think the sooner the better...if you know which church then just book now.

You should call your church to make sure of availability for your day.

Your not suposed to do anything before you book the church (according to the church) however I booked my RH already and I feel really bad lying to 'THE CHURCH' but they said they wouldn't have the 09 book out till late september and I didnt want to wait to start booking the RH and my vendors So I am going to have to sin and lie to the church...
