Get your wedding dress? I know I have a long ways to go but, I don't want to get it too late or do i want to get it too early. Any advise?

they say to order it about 8 months before your date...it takes a looooonnnnngggggg time to ship and then you need time for all the fittings

you can start looking anytime you want, but just remember how many new lines are coming out with each passing season. so if you fall in love with a dress...you may want to hold off on ordering it until it gets closer to your wedding. like maybe 8-10months before. i second guessed my dress choice so many times only because i ordered it almost a year before. i had too much time to think about it. so, take your time. just enjoy the looking process.

well since you have 2 years, I'd wait to see what they come out with closer to your date. Your tastes could change by then. Maybe wait till a year or less to get yours.

I just ordered mine 14 months before the date. I didn't call for my delivery confirmation but I was told it should be in by January. Which is plenty of time!!!
I got so scared of people saying it will take a year or longer to be delivered and it's not true.
You do have plenty of time so it may be early as new styles will come out but I would suggest starting around the 18 month mark I guess that's next summer. I wanted to wait even longer to dress shop and I'm glad I didn't wait. once I picked out my dress so many ideas changed from my original style, color choices etc...
