When's Your 'Reading Time' ?

As much as I LOVE reading, I cant seem to find the time to read as much as I'd want to. How doyou ladies keep up with your reading? When I commuted on the subways, I was able to finish a book in a week. Now, Im lucky if I 'let myself' sit for an hour a day I usually try to read a half hour in the morning, and maybe an hour at night at the most...

When's your 'reading time' and are you consistent about it ? Nothing like curling up to a good book, right?? Oh, and I CANT read in bed. When I go to bed, its sleepy time!

Since I don't have children yet, and I'm off all summer, reading time is all the time. Otherwise, I read after dinner or in bed.

When the Lima Bean arrives, I'll need to start a new schedule for reading.

I read while I am eating my breakfast at work (which I do in the cafteria before I start work) and on the train on the way home from work.

My reading time is mainly my commute time. I have an hour and a half commute both ways . The good news is that this is my reading time - the bad news is with so much time to read I finish a book a day and I run out of things to read!

I read on the train. Thats pretty much it unless I am at the beach or I am at a good part then I read before I go to bed.

On the train...but NEVER in the morning, I am too tired and only on the way home from Penn to about Jamaica and that is it...I still get through a book in about a month...

Sometimes, (read: depending upon housework), I will read for an hour when Paul naps. Otherwise, I read in bed - it helps me get sleepy, which I sometimes find difficult.

I usually just read on the train.

I read on the subway and before I go to sleep. It doesn't matter how tired I am when I go to bed, I have to read. It's a bedtime ritual for me.

on the train to and from work....I look forward to it! I am a reading nerd and proud of it!

I also look forward to my reading time. It's not a nerdy thing to do - it's YOUR time to do something that YOU want to do.

I read in the bathtub. I'm a bath-a-holic. I'm addicted to long hot bubble baths. I light some candles have a glass of chilled wine and read until the tub starts to get cold.

It is interesting both FH and I read in the bathroom Just very differently

I read in the evening when work is finished but before bed. I listen to audiobooks a lot, since I use my eyes all day at work and need to give them a break. So most of the time I'll put my audiobook on and listen to it while I cross-stitch. It's much better than TV.

I'm jealous of all of you who can read on a train or in a car. I get SO nauseous and dizzy if I try to read in a moving vehicle. Even looking down at a map for too long makes me sick.

Also, be careful with those candles around the bath tub!! LOL. Did you see my post about funny honeymoon stories??? Bathing by candlelight can be dangerous!

On the ferry to work. Its only an 8 minute trip each way - but its all I get!

Ahh, LOL, no I put the candles in the bathroom, but NOT-- on the tub or even close to where they could be bumped..... Thanks!
