to have the bridal shower.. im thinking of a knights of columbus since jesaroo so nicely volunteered her dad to take care of the food!!! (thanks jess) i think it owuld be much more wise to do it at a place like this since it will be better on us $$ wise. then alymikewedding08 so nicely sent me an FM telling me about this place.
I just wanted to tell you.. in Farmingdale.. there is a knights of columbus.. on merrits rd.. and it's like $500 for 4 hours.. even if we want a Friday or Saturday night.. .. it's I think $8 a person for open bar or $4 a person for soda.. I'll find out more.. but that place only holds 100 people max... I don't know how many we would have.
i think its a GREAT find!!! just thought id share

I think Milk & Sugar in Bay Shore would be so perfect... I don't know prices, but they definitely close it to the public for private parties! Milk & Sugar Cafe

then to include open bar it would be 20.50 pp....

There is a place that we are having a baby shower for one of my coworkers on Thursday night. Its $20pp and you get a private room, a sit down dinner with appetizer, salad and entree, coffee tea, dessert and i think soda with that all for $20pp. Obviously there is no bar included but it seems like a pretty good deal. But to be completely honest, I cant think of the name of it...I think its on 109 in Babylon or Farmingdale right near 110, so its still central LI (nassau/suffolk border). Oh I totally want to help!!! GREAT IDEA!!!!

Just an option but If we moved it to the summer or even september, we could have it at my house if that helps out at all. It might help save some money but if a place isnt expensive than thats a great idea!
