Where and how did....

you and your FH meet? I guess this is my attempt to cheer myself up from unbooking my hall today! All the love stories will make me feel better......
SOOOO...I'll start....
FH and I met in college (Stony Brook). He was in one of the classes that we were both trying to sign into on the first day of class. It was one of those easy A classes that everyone wants to take but with limited seating. He was introduced through one of our mutual friend and I was so turned off by his shyness. I said hi and he NODDED his head. I was like 'ewww, what a dork'. A year after that, he ended up in another class of mine and we started talking. I was so surprised because I was like 'this guy actually talks?'. Everything started from there....he turned out to be the sweetest guy and it was happily ever after!! We've been together for over 4 years!!
Soooo, what's your story?

Fh and I met at Danfords. We both used to work there together. We were friends for a while and I was dating someone else. After that relationship ended it was only two weeks later that FH and I started dating. It's been almost 7 years!!

FH and I met our third year in college at University of Virginia as pre-meds. It's funny that two people from Long Island met in Virginia. We always complained about missing the good food in NY. Amazingly we stayed together throughout all of college and we even made it through medical school together. I graduate in two months and I couldn't have made it here without him. We've been together 7 years too. A wedding is long overdo.

We met in high school through a mutual friend but didn't start dating until 5 months after graduation. We've been together for 8+ years!!!!

lol genovese.. his best friend - now his best man - came in to visit his girlfriend at the time who was working with me and he came in with his friend.. i asked for his number and he had asked for mine.. we dated a month he broke it off cause i was 'in love' with my best freind that ended three years later, we got back together and the rest is history

We met freshman year of college through a mutual friend and never really spoke that much until the following year. FH was always so quiet and I think that is what intrigued me about him and then someone put his name on my IM buddy screen (yes it sounds dorky) but then we found eachother talking every night for like 3+ hours. We nearly didn't get together b/c FH was afraid of what our friend (who introduced us) would think and didn't want to lose him as a friend but I for the first time 'grew balls' and said 'I think we have something really good here and if you want to **** it up then that's up to you...' The next day he asked me out on our first official date and we've been together ever since...5 years! Couldn't love anyone more

I was working at Staples for about 5 months when in came a hot newbie!! I was dating someone else at the time and that relationship was pretty much over. The next week I decided to ask him for his phone number and to hang out. I even told my friend at work that I was going to marry him one day! We hung out and have been dating 7+ years! I love him so much!

We met thru friends (we were both 14) and then we became friends for about 5 months..we lost touch and one day he beeped me (yeah...beeper days) and we've been together ever since. July will be 8 years!!!

good old genovese- where we both worked at the time- I was 16 about to turn 17 the next month and I kinda dropped hints that I liked him. He waited til my birthday to ask me out (he said he waited because he didnt want to go to jail since I was a minor!!! !!!!!

Six years later here we are

mine is kinda long

fh and i go to local music shows and we both went seperately to a music fest in kentucky where my friend knew him and saw him and introduced me to him.. i thought nothing of it. when we came home i ran into him at a show again cause that same friend wanted to show me his fresh tattoo on his leg and it kinda looked like nightmare before christmas (which i have a full sleeve tattoo of) so later on i found him online and tried emailing him, he never responded.. i saw him at another music festival and we hung out the whole time (a mututal friend of ours told me he thought i was cute.. and me loving to hear that like any other girl, flirted with him more even though i wasnt necessarily interested) after that festival we actually did start talking on a normal basis.. we hung out for like a month straight before he actually kissed me.. almost a month after that i decided that i wanted to be exclusive with him and the rest is history.. sorry so long. haha.

FH and I met at his brothers house. I met his brother through my ex. they were friends. Fh walked in the door and I was instanly attracted to him. My ex and i were on the outs anyway so I started talking to FH. We went on a few dates and the rest is history.

I saw him in 10th grade in my high school store and walked up to him and told him that he had the nicest smile I had ever seen...we hung out that night and we've been together ever since!

My girlfriend Karen and I were trying to meet for like 2 Weeks to hang out for my birthday so I made her a bet that I would show up at the pool hall that night. Well I kept my bet and I meet her and a bunch of her older brothers friends that night and I really like one of the guys. We started meeting up at the pool hall every night for a week and then he asked me out one night and we have now been together for 11 1/2 years.
