Where are all my runners?

Where are all my runners?

Anyone doing any runs any time soon?

I'm doing the aids/cancer 5k on June 6th....and the Diva Half-Marathon in October.


Also, does anyone know a good running watch that wont break the bank? My dad is a marathon runner and suggested the garmin forerunner 250

Hopefully running FH's bro's memorial run on June 12th which is a 5k and I also signed up for the 1/2 marathon in October. I can't start training though until i get this stupid boot and caste off!!!

im only an aspiring runner but i have a polar heart monitor and love it! so id think all the polar watches are pretty reliable...not sure what you specifically want though.

i suggest going to a running shop and asking those guys what make/models they suggest...then price it out on the internet. Runners Edge is in FAmingdale and Runners World (?) is in Huntington.

Darn it! I just looked up this Diva Half-Marathon but I'll be on my honeymoon.

I have the garmin watch also, and I absolutely love it!!!!

And I am considering running the diva's half, but it is 3 weeks to my wedding, so we shall see. I barely had time to train for the last 2 halfs.

i signed up for a bunch of nyrr races this summer and in sept.

i run the massapequa firecracker 5k run each summer, its 2 days after i get back from my HM this year!

I'm running a 4-miler on Saturday. I'm pretty nervous b/c I only started running in March using the couch-to-5k program (have done 2 5ks since then) and so the most I've ever run has been 3.3 miles.

I want to do a couple more 5k runs this summer before the wedding and I'm training to do a 10k.

my favorite running accessory is the garmin forerunner 305! i got it for like $200 on amazon 2 years ago... i think you can get it for $150 now :)
