Re: where are all the?

The main symptoms of IBS are

abdominal pain or discomfort in the abdomen, often relieved by or associated with a bowel movement
chronic diarrhea, constipation, or a combination of both
Other symptoms are

whitish mucus in the stool
a swollen or bloated abdomen
the feeling that you have not finished a bowel movement
Women with IBS often have more symptoms during their menstrual periods

Hope this helped! My FH has it! It really *****!

There's so many of us I'm sure you have one girl here with IBS at all times. My symptoms are severe cramping and running to the bathroom. Here is a list I found of common symptoms

Common symptoms of IBS

Bloating and gas
Mucus in the stool
Constipation
Diarrhea, especially after eating or first thing in the morning
Feeling like you still need to have a bowel movement after you've already had one
Feeling a strong urge to have a bowel movement
Abdominal pain and cramping that may go away after having a bowel movement

Re: where are all the?

I have Crohns which is IBD (a little more severe I think?) but I have a more mild case that is pretty well controlled by meds.

My biggest symptoms were extreme bloating, sharp pains in my lower right abdomen, trips to the bathroom for *D*

however, there are lots of other potential symptoms like constantly having to go *D* or bloody stool.

Go get checked out - hopefully they can figure out what is wrong with you and then treat it

Good Luck! I have had it my entire life and go from one extreme to the other. I finally have a lot of it controlled with diet but stress will make it come on in a heartbeat!

Its not fun!
