Where are all the military wives and wives to be???

just wondering how many military gals are out there and if you did anything or are planning to do anything military related at your weddings?

maybe we can start our own thread too

im a military wife!!

my reception isnt until aug this year but we got married last year before his deployment.

at our wedding we are having a donation to military families instead of favors and i hope to find a nice cake topper with the groom in uniform. i've seen a bunch but they are not great quality and i need both to be blonde!

also our three ring bearers have birthdays within 2 weeks of our reception so we are having a cake for them in the shape of an airplane for the USAF

i am a military wife too! i think we should totally have our own thread.

we didnt really do anything special at the wedding, other than DH wore his uniform and we cut the cake with a sword, which was pretty cool

Miliary Fiance here as well!!!!

My FH just came back from Iraq disabled though, so I hope his purple heart will keep him from going back! He still has three more years with the marines though :(

I'm a military wife.

We had Marines in uniforms. We made a donation to the USO and Wounded Warriors Fund instead of favors. And we had a Marine cake along side our wedding cake.

i'm getting ours from....memory cabbinet

totally cusomized with his rank and all i love it
i sae a light up base at party city too i might get that but i don't know it might look cheesie

My sister is a military wife/bride! She married her hubby at a park rightbforehe left for Iraq....he comes home in 2 weeks and shes getting married again at the Watermill June 15, 2008! Her name on here is Tiamo626

lol mine says hes getting out for good but he said that 2 years ago.... got out for like 3 months then came home one day ... hunny guess what OMG i wanted to kill him

but for some reason he loves it so i support him for how ever long he stays in for

I'm a military wife too! DH and I just got married 2 weeks ago. He didn't want to incorporate anything USMC into the wedding I was kinda looking forward walking through all the swords and the 'welcome to the family' slap.

I am a military fiance. FH just got home from 15 months in Iraq a week ago and is processing out.
