i lost about 30 lbs around 2 years ago through weight watchers and have managed to keep it off. I looove weight watchers and cant say enough good things about it.

I'm thinking about trying Weight Watchers again! I did a for a bit a couple of years ago.
We should start a thread on the Slim Down Boards dedicated to our goals and accomplishments!

It's been almost 2 years that I've been on the program and I've lost 40 lbs and kept it off. Now I'm battling those last like 10-15 so I'm back to it full force! No more playing around!
I weigh in tomorrow so we'll see how i do!

i am still going i gained this week a 1lb. i was down 16 now i am down 15.

I would love to start some sort of weight watchers support message board. I have been in and off for about 2 years. I did WW in 2004 and lost 10 lbs in 10 weeks, and I have since then gained it back. After reading some of the above posts I am defintely going back to WW.. My company sponsors a program at work and they come to my job for weigh in and meetings. Thanks girls!!!!

I need to lose about 20lbs before the wedding. I've done WW on and off and it works for me.
I'm thinking that I will probably start Saturday or Sunday.
I've already gotten myself back at the gym. I am sore today, but so happy that I'm back.
Let me know if you guys start a thread in the slim down section cause I'll be right there with you guys.

Congrats!!!! I give you all a lot of credit, I had such a hard time concentrating with the points system, it drove me crazy to focus so much on it.

We're finding core soooo much easier than points, eliminates most of the weighing measuring and counting!

Points drove me crazy too. It's almost like I was looking for food in order to make up the points for the day instead of eating when I was hungry.
When I do WW I do their core program which they had way back when. I have the old books so I just keep doing it. I thought they had gone back to doing something like that & now you confirm that they have. Good going.
Congrats to all the losers. I forgot to say that in my earlier post. I know how hard it is for thos LBS to come off of us.

Congrats, you rock!! I am so never going to make my goal and I have finally come to terms with that!! I lost enough to be happy years ago and kep it off so I can deal but I'll always swear by W.W.!! :)
I want to join weight watchers but I want a buddy to go with! I live in Oceanside. I was gonna go with Alljoy but that crazy woman gets up to go to an 8:30 AM meeting on a Sunday! I need my beauty sleep!
If anyone is interested in recruting me please FM me. I need to lose 35-40 lbs in 6 months!

You call her a crazy woman???? What would you call me??? I'd wake you up to be at the gym for a 2hr workout at 9:30am!
I am as poor as can be with this wedding. Therefore, I don't do meetings. I've made copies of the eating sheets and I use the books. I remain accountable to myself when I hop on the wagon. What I found works for me is to start my week on a Sunday. This encourages me not to overeat or overdrink on Saturdays and Sundays.
Jiffy, you don't need to actually go, we can hold each others hands in this process along with everyone else. I said I want to lose 20lbs, but if I lost 30lbs I wouldn't be exactly dyeing. What do you say??

I LOVE WW. I lost about 30lbs last year, and i've managed to stay at the same weight (+/- 3lbs) for the whole year :)
I'm back to my H.S. weight, and never happier :) Although, i would love to lose another 20 for my wedding, but there is plenty of time for that!
