We were all set to rent the tuxes from Mens Warehouse. I even had my heart set on the style I wanted, but i just found out that they only taylor the sleeves and the length, not the width in the jackets.
My FH's groomsmen are all ex bouncers! lol so they are all wide and will need to get really big sizes and then have them taylored to fit. Otherwise they'll look like they are swimming in them!
Besides Men's Warehouse, where are you girls going?

there is a place i heard is really good by the bridal reflections in carle place! what about syms, or a store for big and tall!
im getting nervous now my Fh is a bouncer and he is so broad i hope they can fit him !!

we used Esquire Tuxedo in Merrick. Mike was super nice and accomodating.

We're using Bonaventura in Garden City on Franklin Avenue. It's a mom and pop shop but they have a large variety of tux's and they're on premises too....so G-d forbid something goes wrong...it's easily replaced and they're not expensive. i think our tux's are averaging out $150 with shoes and all.

We're using Bell Formalwear in Bayside. They are a mom & pop shop been around 45 years. They will tailor whatever needs to be done.

Esquire Tuxedos in Merrick.
Mike is great to work with, has plenty of choices, and is super flexible to make sure everything is done, even for out of town guys! They also have a tailor on premises the day everyone picks up in case there are any last-minute adjustments that need to be made.
