Okay so I'm going with Josh to his Aunts house tomorrow for Passover... what do I bring? My mom said to buy a bottle of Kosher Wine... but that seems cheesy...
what do you suggest?

If you can find a chocolate babka. . . they are delicious and probably the best thing to bring. You can probably get it at a bakery - If his family is kosher . . . just make sure that you ask that it be kosher made.
Otherwise. . . macaroons, homantasheen(sp?) . . .

lol . . . I actually love matzoh!! I eat it with cream cheese on it, you can also put butter (or margarine) it's yummy.
And I'm willing to bet you have never eaten matzoh bri - it;s like french toast with matzoh - my daddy makes it sooooooooo good - I want it now!!
And FYI - egg matzoh is really the only one that has taste to it.

matzoh bri is not my cup of tea. i hate anything matzoh related, except for the occasional matzoh ball... but only if its made right.
i've had matzoh lasagna... and let me tell you... it was like eating someone elses vomit.

I don't think I would like lasagna made of matzoh either
seriously though . . . try the chocolate babka! It's like a crumb cake with chocolate inside. They have other flvaors of babka if you dont like chocolate but jews (all of the ones I know anyway) LOVE babka.

Re: where are my fellow jews???
Im a nice jewish girl who HATES matzoh and rates Passover as my least favorite holiday!!
Im gonna suggest Slivovitz. Its a Plum after dinner drink. Since it is not made from grains it is acceptable for Passover and it is Kosher.
You can still do flowers or something like that. Most sedars have A LOT of food so you dont need to bring something edible.

I love it!! I thought I was the only one!! I happen to love coconut so I do love macaroons BUT my Italian step mom tells me that she wants us to come over for dinner on Sunday night for the holiday and I was like 'What holiday?'

Re: where are my fellow jews???
You know I just remembered this. . .
One year my mom, sister and I tried to cook a whole meal for passover and we came up with this . .
Passover is a meal we wish we could really pass over.

My BM and old college roomie used to make matzoh pizza and once she made matzoh with chocolate and butter and baked it and it was like a cookie! SOO Good!
