1) Pls confirm that if I order invitations in the next week that I'll be ok for 10/16 LOL... 2) How much time do I need to order a veil because I haven't seen my dress since thanksgiving time and wanted to try it on together - how much time should I allot for that? I'm assuming bras & shoes can be purchased like in July - but, buy the shoes before the first alteration or after? 3) Favors - let's say those wine bottle i've been after - about how long should I give the winery? Should I setup a separate table? Anyone know about how much to budget for this? I know Ospreys Dominion makes a spice wine that goes w/ the theme. 4) Is anyone getting kind of dizzy when as they flip through their wedding binder - and saying 'Hey those were just the deposits!' 5) I don't have a completed guest list w/ addresses are you ladies working on that daily (like pulling teeth to get addresses over here _ 6) When should my mom & FMIL go for their gowns? 7) I have about 3/4 of the BM's sized for their dresses...three more to go...I should hopefully have this order in a week...when do you think they'll be in? Roughly how many fittings? When should they get the shoes?

I think you are doing well. I still have yet to do much of what is on your list, but I can try to answer the question about BM dresses. I just ordered my BM dresses and if you are getting married in October you want to order soon. My girls' dresses are scheduled to arrive at the end of August. So, if they plan to have their dresses altered and you want to leave enough time for delivery mishaps, order asap!!

Hey your doing great! I'm pulling teeth myself trying to get the guest list together with addresses and stuf.. But I finally got all the Bm's to order their dresses!! So you are doing fine.

I just finished my address list the other day so don't worry! I have been working on it forever.
The invites ordered now? Yo uwill be fine for October! I'm sending mine out the beginning of August (Since my date is Oct.2).

Good questions. I have the same ones, just add about 20 more. Just yesterday I emailed my bridesmaids with what has been done and what has yet to be done. Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
My FI said last night we have five more months. Duh, no I am saying four months. My plans are to have nothing to do in October (well, I can wish can't I? )
I think you are doing fine and I should know because we are date twins. My last bridesmaid got measured for her dress and they were ordered last week. My bridal salon said they would be in, in 3 months. They also told me that is MOB and FMIL were going to order dresses they should order them sometime this month. I am awaiting a second proof on my invitations and if it is okay I will order them. They should come in within a few weeks. I have almost all of my addresses and I know what favor I want I just have to order them. I have a lot done but I feel like I have so much more to do. It makes my head hurt to think about it.

I still a lot on your list to do too! I was pretty lucky with my veil though. They had just happened to get a some new veils in the day before and I fell in love with one of them and they just put it with my dress instead of ordering another for me, they just ordered another one for the store. At least it's one less thing to worry about.

you might wanna get your BM's all measured within the next 2 weeks..Also, I already ordered my invitations,,and I have to have the addresses into the calligrapher no later than June 22nd..and the invitations have to be sealed and ready to mail out no later than August 15, 2005, since my RSVP date is 9-18-05. Since your getting married a few weeks before me,,you may want tomake the invites and addresses first priority... Otherwise, I think your doing great,,,the favors dont take long to order...

Hey twin date. You are doing fine as long you are doing the best that you can.
So far, this are what I've accomplished until the big day; -I already got my BM dresses -my invitations are on their way -just finalized our guestlists -helping mom to find her perfect dress -one more add on for my favor -got my bridal shoes
Still waiting for my gown, need to purchase undergarments, veil, tiara, tuxes, purchase another add on for the favor, pre-cana, wedding program, get wedding bubbles, put together placecard holders and finalize all payments with the vendors. I know there's a lot more to do once it gets closer.

1) you will be ok with the invites, they don't take long to get. The thing you have to take into consideration is calligraphy. I had to reserve time for Artistic addressing for teh first week of June.
2) You are ok with the veil. Buy your under garments and shoes b4 your first fitting.
3)Favors - ask the vineyard how much time they need
4) no comment!
5) Try to get the addresses by June
6) My mom ordered her dress in November. It all depends on where you get the dress from, but I would start looking now.
7) I would definitely have your BM's order the dress ASAP. As far as fitting goes, usually one time is sufficient. They should probably have their shoes by the first fotting, so they know how long to make the hem.

You are doing okay. I still have a lot to do. In regards to the BM dresses you should order them very soon. I needed mine in in the beginning of August for certain reasons and I needed to order them by the first week in March. You will be okay with the invites. I ordered mine a week and a half ago. In regards to the veils I have not picked one out yet. I have the headpiece and no veil. My mom keeps annoying me. We are going to get it in June so that will be done. Shoes and bras will be done in July. Same for the programs and the menus and the BM gifts. My goal is to get everything done before my response date on the invite because then we have to do the seating arrangements.

This is a lot and we even have to look for a place to live.
Just think girls at tleast we are having a bachelorette party to relieve some of our stress.
