Where are you..

Where are you registering? I need some ideas. Do you have to make appointments for this?

Re: Where are you..

Fortunoff's and Macy's (FH has a ton of OOT guests, so we needed one that was everywhere!)

You don't need an appointment, but I would definitely try to go do stuff during the week rather than on the weekends...

Re: Where are you..

I'm not sure yet. I am thinking Fortunoff's, Williams Sonoma (bit expensive, but I LOVE this store) and maybe BBB.

I'm also considering doing The Big Day Honeymoon registry......

Re: Where are you..

I plan on registering at Macy's, Fortunoff and Crate and Barrel with the following rationales:

Macy's - easily accessible to people in many states as well as the internet.

Fortunoff - it is a rite of passage where I come from and not to mention they have very practical things.

Crate and Barrel - nothing there is so over priced and everything has a timeless classic style.

Re: Where are you..

We are thinking of Macy's, Fortunoff, and Williams-Sonoma (FI's request!). I am planning on going tomorrow to at least one of these stores and checking out the registry dept.

Re: Where are you..

Definitely Crate and Barrel and Macy's. Fortunoff is another possibility.

Bed Bath and Beyond...you don't need an appointment...I wouldn't recommend going on a weekend...people had to wait for the guns.

Re: Where are you..

we registered at crate and barrel, fortunoff, and linens and things.. we just walked right in to all of them.. and we did them all on the weekends. the store was a little busier but there weren't huge long lines in the registry departments.

Re: Where are you..

Fortunoff's
Bed, Bath & Beyond
Macy's

No appointments needed at any of these. It's slightly easier if you create your registry online and then go to the store to get the zapper. It saves time filling out forms by hand.
