where are you getting ready?

our house is very small and i keep feeling that with 10 people in the house that day plus photohgrapher and videographer and make up and hair people that it will be sooooo cramped!!!! i dont eve know where ill be able to take any formal pics of me here..... but i feel like it would be a little impersonal and not intimate getting ready at a hotel or something.... just curious to see where the rest of you are planning on getting ready

I am having the same problem..I was thinking of a hotel as well..I think I might wind up doing that..unless people suggest somewhere better

I totally feel your pain on that note, since my family is so big and everything will be chaos times 10 million, I am doing the night before at the Hyatt and it's good because the wedding will be there and everything will be squared away and if not I can just go right down to the office.

I am getting ready at my house (Parents House) I know it will be a little cramped but I would have it no other way

We are both getting ready at our parents homes.

I am getting ready at my Grandmother's house. It's far bigger than my parents', and it's only four blocks from the church. FH is getting ready at a hotel, though. He and his family live in Jersey, so it will be much easier for him to get ready at a hotel.

We are both getting ready at our parents, and both of our parents live in Apartments, so I am sure it'll be packed!!!!! LOL

I'm getting ready at my mother's house and FH is getting ready where we live now. I would much rather get ready where we live now, because that's the house I grew up in, but my mom's house is much bigger, so it will be easier.

hotel for us, i hate the decor in my parents house so I need a nice suite for me and the 9bms to get ready

Def. getting ready in my house. I just feel like this is the place where I grew up and I wouldn't want to take pics getting ready anywhere else...I want some pics of me in my room before the wedding!!
ahh...I feel like i'm already getting emotional just thinking about it

i know what you are saying. i already ran that by my mother.. her response was....'what do u think everyone lives in a mansion???' ughh!!!

so the video/photos should be entertaining. me, my 9 bridesmaids, my mom, and anyone else that may feel the need to 'stop by'.

im just gonna go with it..

ugh i am in the same position...

Since FH and I live upstate and my mother really wants me to get ready at her house but it is too small and has the worst decoration. Half of my bridemaids live in the same town as my mother, and the other half live upstate with me. So my bridesmaids that live upstate will be staying at the hotel which is 30 minutes from my mothers house!!!!!!

FH will be getting married at the hotel since his family and groomsmen will be there too.

so i guess it is going to be my mother's and her cramped house...
