we didnt think we could go away but we might be coming into some $$ this month so we're planning on going to the royal playa del carmen

Alaska freaks me out with their 24 hours of sunlight! I went there for 2 weeks with my mom a few years ago to visit her friend. I was nuts by the time we left. Kids were outside playing basketball at 3am and it was sunny. I hear the cruises are wonderful though.

I couldn't agree with you more! There is so much to see out there. Lucky for me, my FH is into seeing the world too. Woohoo!
