Where are you going....

for you fittings? are you going thru the store you bought your dress or thru a steamress?

I just posted about this My wedding is on August 21st and my first fitting will be on July 23rd. I wanted to give myself enough time to lose more weight, but enough time so it is not last minute! I am getting it fitted at Paradise Bridal where I bought my dress. HTH!

im pretty sure im going to use the store where i bought it..i dont really know a good person to use otherwise

I intended on using the store where I bought my dress, Bridal Garden. UNTIL...they shut down without even letting me know!

Now I'm using Alterations by Gina. She's such a sweet lady!

Store has been doing them (David's Bridal in Westbury). So far, they haven't been as bad as I've heard they were.

The store where I got my dress is doing mine and I'm not sure about the BM dresses yet... because we haven't ordered them yet!!!

I plan on using the place where i bought my gown from.

A very good friend suggested I go to a friend of her family in the garment district who does fashion design work so I've been going there. Very non-traditional, but the dress came out great!

I plan on using the store that I bought it from, but someone on BHB posted a veiled post about 2 stores, one of which being mine, about how one place is snotty and one place is bad at alterations...since I didn't have a particularly snotty experience at mine, in fact I found them to be pleasant, I fear that means my place is the one with crappy alterations I'm just getting a straight pickup bustle, so that's not a big deal, but I'm nervous now because I'm going to need such major work done on top because of the lack of boobage. We shall see I guess...
