Where are you going for your honeymoon?

I'm sure this thread is somewhere. I'm trying to figure out where FH and I should go. All I know is we want to do a Caribbean honeymoon.

Help!!!!!!!! I'm trying to but the plane ticket before the year is out, since I've noticed plane tickets are very cheap right now for July travel just about anywhere I type in.

Aruba 450
Barbados 420
St. Thomas 330
Cancun 230

etc....

who knew planning the honeymoon would be more frustrating than planning the wedding.

We are staying in the states...we're going to Los Angeles to do our own 'Food Network Tour' of famous restaurants we've wanted to go to since becoming addicted to cooking shows and Top Chef .

i've heard great things about honeymoon in Cancun.

I LOVE barbados...beautiful beaches but also things to do such as swim with sea turtles, explore the caves up north.

I've heard Aruba is a good honeymoon spot if you wanna just hang on beaches...there's not much else there, a few casinos. but my mom just came back and said it was very nice.

don't know anything about st. thomas, sorry

we are going to Vieques, PR...check it out...very small low key island and has a bioiluminescent bay!


Everything in me wants to go to Barbados. That's where I'm from. I have not been in 2 years because I had a baby. My FH never been and I've never went as a tourist. Our honeymoon falls right in the middle of Carnival.

I wonder if it looks bad becuase before I had my baby every time you blinked i was in Barbados (lol).

We've narrowed it down to Cancun, Barbados, or St. Thomas.

I'm looking for more feedback on St. Thomas


Oh that's crazy!! So you def know all about barbados then! boy, do I love it!! Go to were you want to go....I considered going somewhere FH hadn't been but I had originally b/c I wanted to share my prior experience with him but now i think we are headed for somewhere we both haven't been. Good luck!

Thanks, I didn't even think about it in that way 'sharing my prior experience with him', I think it's BARBADOS HERE I COME!!!!!!!!

We went to the Sandals Grande in St. Lucia and loved it!

I love the Food Network and just about all Food shows. FH and I are always taking note of places around the US we have to go and eat. lol I see your wedding is right around that corner. Make sure you eat extra for me. lol

what a great idea! so different!

Great post in general... im trying to figure out honeymoon too! i feel like some things are ruled out since it will be in december/january.
