Yesterday (Saturday), we went to Fabio's in East Meadow. It was pretty inside but we waited an hour and a half for our food! When we got out food, especially my dh, I laughed at the waiter and said, 'that's it?'. There was hardly any food on my dh's plate. 30 dollars for the food to look 'pretty' on the plate made me angry.
This is why V-day will be at home from now on.
That place is a joke, isnt it? I could've told you not to go there--that place sucked when it first opened ---nice to know it still does....LOL

We are staying in and I am cooking. To start we are going to have crab stuffed mushrooms. For dinner I am going to make a fettucini with an lobster alfredo. And dessert will be chocolate fondue!

Dh doesn't get home from work until 9:30 tonight - so I am cooking dinner - Chicken Filets with Feta and Tomato over Angel Hair pasta and for dessert I am making homemade heart shaped cookies We're such slackers though - we still haven't gotten each other's present yet - I'll do that on my lunch break today! We were going to stay home but now we are going out with another couple to Paul Jeans, in I think Setauket or Stony Brook, not really sure, its a cajun place.

We are celebrating this weekend going out to dinner but tonight he will be cooking and I'm making chocolate fondue with strawberries, pound cake, bananas, oreo cookies etc!! Yummy

We went to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods for the weekend. Tonight we are going to Paradise Diner in Happauge (recommended by my sis who went last year and said all the ladies get a rose ) We shall see. Im looking forward to it. Happy Valentines Day all!
