So we are thinking about having an e-party in March. We want something that is just open bar and appetizers (almost like a cocktail hour) has anyone found a place like this?
We went to a party at Lido Beach Country Club this past summer that was sooo nice, it was open bar, with yummy finger foods, and a pasta station!! But we don't want to wait till the summer.
Any ideas??? Thanks!!!!

I looked around because i wanted to do the same thing. However, i couldnt find a place that i loved. I ended up having it in my backyard. We rented nice tables, chairs, and linens, a big tent. We also got a bar and bartender and had waiters. We had it catered and they just did horsdeovurs- i know i spelled that wrong. It was really nice. We decorated the backyard with white lights and it was beautiful. It was exactly what we wanted and it cost the same or actually a little less than if we had it out.

We are having our on November 26 at the American Legion in Williston Park. So far we have 180 people coming, it should be fun, I am excited and nervous at the same time

We're having ours at the Meadow Club on Nov. 19. Open bar, appetizers, and buffet style dinner, and they supply the centerpieces and cake! We're having about 100 people.

we're not having an engagement party...we decided with FIL's that, for us, we'd rather put the money that would've went to the e-party towards our wedding..but I hope you find a really great place to have your e-party!

initially we weren't going to have one to save $$$ but now I'm leaning towards having something small..only close friends and dates.
I'd like to have a small party at a lounge in manhattan with drinks and appetizers..or a dinner event in manhattan. i have to start looking.

There is this restaurant on LI called Molly mallones. I figured since you are having your wedding in Ireland why not have an Irish themed e-party.
(we are not having an e-party but we are thinking about having my parents 50th ann there and I think it runs about $40pp with open bar oh and they can hold upto 100 people)
