Where are you having/did you have your rehearsal dinner in Nassau County?

I absolutely loved our RH. We had it at Nick and Maggie's in New Hyde Park. Loved the feel of the resteraunt, it was exactly the style we were looking for.

The food was excellent and everyone had a lot of fun! My in-laws even took us there for our 1st year anniversary.

Ours was at the City Cafe in Garden City!! It was great

We had ours at Pomodorino in New Hyde Park.

We had the entire upper level to ourselves and they were so accomodating.

Now whenever we go there the owner and manager come right over and say 'Ahhhh, The Newlyweds' and usually give us a bottle of wine or something.

Food was yummy!!!!

We had it at the Onatome Japanese Steak House in Valley Stream.

AMAZING Hibachi food...but not very conducive to speeches. It was fine though...since my Groom's parents are not very 'speechy'.
It would have been nice to have more of an open forum for others though.

we are thinking of either continental cafe in manhasset, stresa in manhasset or piccolo's in mineola --we still have to check this one out --never been but i hear it is good...

we are trying to find a place near nhp that has a private room...

I think so,,,my fathers friend owns it now,,and i think I remember them saying it used to be another italian place,,,but they re-did the entire place and extended it.

the food is amazing and they have a private room!

Did they really? Wow--(if its the same place, its on the corner of Merrick Rd & Bellmore Rd)--it was one of my fav. places--I'm sure I'll still love it
