WHERE ARE YOU LADIES GETTING....

YOUR INVITATIONS?

'I FEEL LIKE I AM IN INVITE HELL!!'

I STOLE THAT QUOTE FROM MY MOH WHO ALSO IS IN THE SAME CRAPPY PLACE AS ME REGARDING THESE INVITATIONS!

ANY SUGGESTIONS AS FAR AS WHICH STORES OR SITES TO CHECK OUT TO GET A NICE INVITE WITHOUT PAYING A GAJILLION DOLLARS?

are you crafty at all?

I am making pocket fold invites, and when I looked they seem to be right around $4 per invite. I am able to make them for $1.35 each!! They are not as hard as I thought they were going to be.

WHERE DID YOU FIND THE INFORMATION ON HOW TO MAKE THEM? LIKE 'INSTRUCTIONS' OR 'SUPPLY LIST' SO TO SPEAK?

SO FAR THESE INVITES HAVE BEEN THE MOST AGGRAVATING PART TO DATE

ughhhh i hear you... i think you have to have an idea of what you want first... I searched a billion sites finally found two designs i liked and now im just finding a site that will make them for the cheapest price

I just went to J & D in Merrick over the weekend my gf who is also on here but getting married this year recommended them. Im getting 100 invites for $395.

I completely understand your feelings about invites. I have no idea where to go either and I haven't been thrilled with anything I've seen online. I almost feel like there's too many options and I just don't have the patience to sit down and look

I agree.... I've seen some beautiful invites but let's be serious, who is going to actually keep and frame them??? I don't want to spend too much money on this either!!!!!

Exactly!!! I went to party city the other day at Carle Place and they have a ton of books to order wedding invitations. Some were really nice but I didn't get to go through everything cause FH was bored.. LOL! So we left but I think I'm going to go there again and look through all the books. And the prices were reasonable.....

I found one I love on the new Bed Bath and Beyond Rexcraft site, and they are reasonable.

I also love Invites by Jen on ETSY but those are much higher in price, bc they are handmade. I really loooove her work though, and may try to squeeze it in.

Most people do throw them out, so you are correct in not wanting to waste money.
