Where we are currently renting--- Glen Cove (Nassau). I can't imagine living anywhere else or being far from my family!

we started looking in Northport, lake Grove, Ronkonkoma, Lake Ronkonkoma, Holbrook, Nesconset. We then added Islip Terrace, Babylon, West Babylon, Holtsville. We finally bought in Centereach!

when we do start looking, well be lookingin levittown, bellmore, wantagh are
Lake Grove, Ronkonkoma, Holbrook, Nesconset. & Farmingville (up and coming) West Islip, North Babylon, and the West side (south of DPA) of Deerpark, and we wished for Commack or Greenlawn.... We finally bought in Farmingville with SACHEM Schools! We were blessed with a beautiful block! Located near some mini mansions or really oversized homes that were just built. The sellers accepted our bid in April, If we were to try to buy our home now we wouldn't have been able to afford it. Happy House Hunting

We started out looking in Dix Hills & Woodbury for the first couple of months.
From then on it was Oyster Bay, Cold Spring Harbor, Huntington, Centerport, Greenlawn & Northport.
We eventually purchased a home in Huntington.

we ended up in glen cove!!
we werent' really looking anywhere particularly......just needed somewhere that was convenient for one of us to get to work...(manhasset and babylon) that we could afford

DH grew up in Oakdale and I lived there with him for awhile. Great area good schools. Smithtown is also nice and good schools.
