Where are you registered and why?

I'm thinking of doing a combination of two stores from the following:

macys
amazon.com
bbb
honeymoon registry


I love Macys but sometimes an item will be cheaper on amazon.com. But then some people may not want to order online so I don't know what to do. What stores offer the perks?

I'm lost about the whole registry.. My shower is going to be small (around 20-25 women) and so far this is what I have:

Two bed in a bag collections
Toaster Oven
George Foreman Grill
Single Serve Coffee Maker
Coffee for the Coffee Maker
Margaritaville- Frozen Margarita Maker
Iron
Bath Towels
Bath Rugs
Slow Cooker (or pressure cooker- I have no idea what the difference is)
Wok

We already have the little stuff like measuring spoons, measuring cup, basic pots and pans, etc. And we're lucky if we cook so baking equipment is out of the question.. Any more ideas? Hmmm maybe 2 electric toothbrushes.. I always wanted one.

i did most of the stuff on BB&B because its affordable and there are stores everywhere which makes it easy for everyone. plus they always have the coupons ppl can use.

then i registered at crate and barrel bc i love the store!

BBB - everyone can get to one or go online and everyone gets the coupons and they have everything!!!

Honeymoon - I have been on my own a while so even thought we need alot of stuff, there are 80 people invited to my shower and I have already received eng gifts from BBB, so I thought this was a great back up.

sears- we have a house and like I said I thought we needed something other than BBB. We figured we could register for some big things that could be joint gifts (weber grill!!!!!) and tools (I want a drill, i am nuts!)

macys - Because I love this store, and we get 5% back on everything bought off out registry and ever thing we buy at macys

williams & sonoma - because that have some good quality things that we wanted that other stores don't have.

we are thinking about a honeymoon one too - in the process of booking out honeymoon today!

Thats why I registered at Macys also

we originally registered only at Macys. our family & friends love shopping in there. everyone we know has a Macys card and gets discount coupons. i also love the cash back you get for shopping regularly & for items purchased off your registry. i also felt it was most convenient, on-line & store locations near everyone.

i was dead set on only having 1 registry but then i noticed that Bed, Bath & Beyond carries some essential items that I wanted that Macys doesn't carry. my BBB registry only has our corning ware set which Macys discontinued, storage chest for our holiday flatware, & storage bags for our fine china.

Macys has a better selection for bedding stuff than BBB right?

i would agree with that!!!!
Although as picky as we were we found our bedding at BBB (but had to buy it now cause it as being discontinued... thank god for gift cards!!!)

I did BBB because it has everything and they always have coupons that can be used on everything.

And Liberty Travel for our honeymoon because we don't know where we want to go and I would love for friends and family to chip in for it.

We have Macy's, BBB, and Amazon.

MOST of my stuff is at BBB.
My china is at Macy's.
Amazon has gadgets and other fun items, or things that are cheaper there than the other places.

macys - they have a great rewards program, plus my mother is a macys freak!

bbb - its so accessible for everyone

williams sonoma - my fav store!

BBB - for bigger ticket items, like appliances and stuff, since people can use the coupons

Crate & Barrel - for accent pieces, decorative items, and specialty serving pieces

Bloomies - for everyday and fine china, bedding, towels, and flatware

haha my mother loves macys too! but only the one by herald square. she basically said one of the reasons she would never leave queens is b/c she's only a quick subway ride to macys.
