I still can't decide. Macy's, Bloomingdales, or Fortunoff with either Bed, Bath and Beyond or Crate and Barrel. What's a good combination (for all budget levels and convienence?) Thanks...

I registered at Macy's and Fortunoffs. THey were both ok! But I am not a registry fan! I was forced into! I must say I had a great time with the scanner either way!!

i registered at macy's thinking that it's more affordable than fortunoff's for example. well i recently bought a gift for someone off a registry and had such a rough time in macy's. whatever was left on the registry (still allot actually) was either discontinued or out of stock. i got really turned off. also, i keep seeing ads for items on my registry for the same prices (if not better!) at fortunoff. so i may be switching.

I'm also going to register at Fortunoff's and am still deciding on second place. My suggestion is that if you register at Fortunoff's or Bloomingdale's, register at Bed Bath & Beyond rather than Crate & Barrel. People might get turned off if you have two stores they think are expensive, event though you'd have a variety of priced items on the list.

I 'm registered at forunoff's and bed bath and beyond...i've heard complaints about macy's - such as items not being taken off the registry, items being discontinued, etc.

I registered at Fortunoff's, Macy's, & Pier 1.....that might sound like a little much, but I love fortunoff, macy's is a little more reasonable, and pier 1 has fun stuff!

We registered at Target a few weeks ago. We plan to add Bloomies and JC Penney (only bc my mom is a manager there and we can use her discount if we don't get everything).
We had to pick stores that were nationwide bc half of our guests don't live in NY. And it will make it easier to return stuff if we get duplicates bc we live in Chicago.

i recently had a problem w/ fortunoffs, so i deleted my registry and changed to bloomingdales. linens and things, bed and bath, crate & barrell, pier 1, pottery barn, and william sonoma all have a wide variety of choices and selection.
i would chose 1 dept store (macys or bloomingdales) 1 everything store (linens and things, or bed and bath) and 1 fun store (crate and barrel, pier1, potterybarn, or william sonoma).
check out the selection online first. this might help in making your decision.
