We plan on blocking a hotel near the RH for our immediate family who wants to stay out there. SO we'll stay at the same hotel.
I just blocked rooms for my guests and a bridal suite for me and fh at The Wingate in Garden City, it is a really pretty hotel, we got a good price and we paid to keep the bar open for an after party when we get back.

Yes i can recommend a place i went to about 2 weeks ago...Its called 60 thompson and its in soho. We went out for FH's friends bday and his gf rented the loft for the night and it was gorgeous...the loft is 2 floors, when you walk in theres a bathroom on the main floor, then hall way into a big beautiful living room with a small dining room table, 2 story ceilings and a very long balcony, then they have an L shaped staircase leading to the 2nd floor, it has a fireplace a unique looking one, the hallway upstairs has a pull out couch, then they have a big cherrywood bed, a bathroom on the 2nd floor and it leads to your very own rooftop deck that is big and great view...and the service was great, when we got to the room they had a big tray of brownies, blondie brownies, nuts, fruits, bottle of champagne and they were on point with whatever we needed...the hotel also has a gorgeous thai restaurant, and a rooftop bar that is real nice..when we got to the room FH turned to me right away and said this is where i want to stay

Far far from all! We blocked rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn JFK for OOT guests but the night after the wedding we're going to go back to Staten Island and stay at the Hilton there.

Oh that is an option because i figured we are leaving the day after and i live not to far from Thompson, so we can stay there....and then just go over to the apt pick up our stuff and then head out to wherever the heck we are going!
im bookmarking it! Im gonna look into it now..and maybe surprise FH

it was real nice, you'll like it alot and prices werent bad compared to alot of other parts in the city, well that was for the rooms not sure how much the loft is, but other city hotels just the rooms were 3x more than their rooms

We're staying at the hotel where our reception is taking place. Our OOT guests are staying at a hotel down the street cause its a lot cheaper.
