Where are you staying the night of your wedding?

Where are you staying the night of your wedding?

My dad was nice enough to book us a suite at the Fox Hollow inn. Our wedding (RH) is so close to the hotel.
But my FH wants to stay some where really nice in the city. We do live in the city, so its not such a bad idea. I just didnt want to drive back in late at night.

My FH and I do not live together and won't until we get married. So instead of spending the wedding night in a nice hotel, we'll be spending the first night of our married life in our first place together

We'll also be in Tahiti two days later so I'm sure we'll get enough hotel time.

We're out-of-towners so we'll be staying in a presidential suite at the Hyatt in Hauppauge. It's a beautiful hotel!!

Home at our place...

i couldn't see spending all that money when we'll be 10 minutes from home- where we can be alone anyway, plus we'll probably wind up at a bar after the wedding til late.

Marriot Melville with our OOT guests.
We are hosting a brunch on Sunday morning

After that I want to go to the cemetery to lay flowers on my mom's grave. I asked the florist to make a small version of my bo-k in lieu of the toss away that I can put there.
Then we go home, pack for the honeymoon and leave on Monday morning for Antigua.

And that was another thing. Its so much money more money to in the city. We might as well go home.

Although we live together now, so we really wanted to do something special..like have bed in breakfast the next day

FH wants to go stay in the city too...but we DONT live there. The reception doesn't end until midnight, we wouldn't get on the road til 1 probabl, wouldn't get to the city til 2 and I'd be fast asleep by then after the car ride...and we'd have to come home the next day to pack for the HM (we're leaving Monday morning)

He doesn't get why it DOES NOT make sense to do this I always have to be the voice of reason...lol
