I'm not getting married until August and my dress is already in a few months early. Now I just found out I have to pick it up within 10 days. I really don't want to bring it home. What did you do with yours?
I'm going to keep mine in my friend's basement. I have two little dogs in a city apartment - it wouldn't last a day at my place! :)

Yea i bought mine from Davids too and have had it for about the last 5 months and its actually in FH closet..he says he hasn't looked at it I threatened him if he did I would kill him!! You can buy a storage bag from Davids for like $10 and store it anywhere.
My store kept it until I needed to pick it up. Is there anyone you know with no pets and that doesnt smoke? I would see if you can keep it there

I bought my dress from David's too, back in November, and picked it up the beginning of December. It's hanging in my closet in a storage bag that I got from them. I still have to take it out of the plastic, wrap it in a clean white 100% cotton sheet, put it back in the storage bag and keep the zipper open a little. That's what my bridal consultant told me, and I've checked out a few websites to confirm and they give the same storage advice. I left a cute note to FH on a post-it that he's not allowed to peek. The dress was hanging there for a week until he noticed the note!![]()
