They are coming to the house that FH and I share together.

I didnt want anyone else opening them or loosing them.

they are going to me specifically at the home where FH and I live.

The response envelope was made out to me and sent to my parents house because that's where I was living at the time.

They are going to our coop - which we dont live in yet- but will be living in once we get married

To my parents home...we're not sure where we'll be living so we figured this was the best option.

My RSVPs where sent to my parents house since I lived there at the time.

FMIL got all uppity when I told her we were going to have the RSVPs sent to us. Ok, yeah, I'm pretty anal but this time it wasn't even about that. All the parents are contributing (FH's are divorced, mine's just my mom) so whose house was I going to have them sent to?? And, in the end, even if they weren't coming to us, why in the world would we have them sent to her??

It's addressed to my name but going to my parents' house where I grew up. My mother paid 90% of our wedding expenses thus she gets the right to have it sent to her house.

Usually it goes to the bride's home.
Unless someone else is handling that part of the wedding.

Thank for bringing this up so I actually could think of an answer before I order my invites next month. I decided it would have to be my parents since I will be in NY two weeks before the wedding and will need the late replies to do the seating chart. I'm just worried cause my family is not very organized and stuff tends to get lost. I am making a big box for my dad to toss all the replies in as they come so none get lost.
