i'm gettin married in february and will be taking pics inside so for my eshoot i wanted to do something outside and different....any ideas?
where were yours done or where are you taking them?
I have the same issue...Feb Bride...We are getting married at Westbury Manor which is SO gorgoeus throughout the year...when its NOT the winter...lol so we are actually going to take e pics there ...in the fall....I just love the ideas of incorporating our venue into our e-pics. Plus...although I always wanted to be a winter bride (getting married on the same day my great grandparents did in 1927) the fall is my fave time of year and the garden colors will be gorgeous then. Will your venue work for something like that?

The Setauket Pond has some nice spots, or you can try the Planting Fields in Oyster Bay. They both have nice spots for pictures.

We plan on taking ours the fall before the wedding in the West Village. We absolutely love that area.

we're taking them in central park and 1-2 of the following: grand central station, brooklyn bridge, and/or the woolworth building.

we took ours at c.w post...they have the post mansion and the gardens are beautiful and the stairs and arches are great backdrops.

My photographer suggested Captree Park... since we go there all the time for fishing or just late night walks, we thought it would be perfect for us to show our colors through. Plus, you can get good pics of the brdige in the background, you can acutally legally walk on the dunes, and there's a nice long broadwalk so you don't have to have stragners in your pics. I'll be doing them more toward the end of sumer...wanna keep on dropping off some weight. I'll post them as soon as I get them

DH and I are from Brooklyn so we took them on the Bklyn Bridge, in DUMBO, and at Coney Island. It was fun, like a little tour

This is going to sound crazy and way out of your way...
but coney island is such an intersting place visually and since there is almsot no vegetation it looks the same in the summer as it does in winter, excpet not a lot of people there in the winter!

FH and I are from Brooklyn too and we took them near the verrazano bridge.
a great and different place is where espo22 took her wedding pics. LIC. The park overlooks the river & NYC in the background and them 5 mins. from there is a building called 5 Pointz. Its a block of graffiti art. Absolutely amazing!

i actually thought of something like a park or carnival type thing but wasnt sure how FH would feel about it
