one last thought, maybe go to a craft shop, find a flower & make one yourself?

Stef, can't you order a rose from that same site where you and Shamma got the hair pins with flowers? It shouldn't be that difficult to attach it.

You may also want to scour some of the garment district shops... Perhaps something in either the 30's and 6th ave or even better, at some shops around 29th and 6th/broadway...

A bunch of them sell cheap immitation jewelry and you may be able to find this there.

Jenny i found the same site, Stef didnt know you wanted leather.

Alina exactly she can attach one of those flowers to a necklace.

Jen: I dont want leather if I can find an alternative.

I wasnt wow'd by the quality of the flowers from Pumpinz. They were nice but not great. If Im going to have to make it myself, I'll probaby look into just getting the silk flower and sewing it onto some ribbon.

This flower is $3 at Pier One..maybe I can try it out.

There's this place in the Manhattan Mall that makes really cool accessories. They did a ton of floral stuff last season. Worth checking out.
They're on the main floor in the far left corner. Forget the name of the place...

I love the necklaces. I got one very similar at H&M last season in white. I don't know if they still have them, but they usually have some pretty funky jewlery.

I made one with the fake mum from Pier One last night. It was so simple and it came out pretty cool...but they dont have white! So I have a red one.



I also got a white rose but its an awkward shape from being smooshed for so long. Im trying to reshape it but I really like the mum better.


Anyone have a Pier One near them that might sell the white mum?
