Where can I buy an embosser?

A couple of months ago, I saw an embosser in a magazine, and have been meaning to order one since. One problem, I forgot which magazine it was that I saw it in. Does anyone know where I could buy one? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Re: Where can I buy an embosser?

Depends on what you want. If you want your address, you can buy a set at Barnes & Noble with a certificate for a customized plate.

If you want something more customized, you can get it at Papyrus, Kates Paperie or even Staples ( i think)

Re: Where can I buy an embosser?

Do a search on www.google.com
I found mine (forgot the address now) for $30.00. I love it too. I use it on the backs of my thank you cards.

Re: Where can I buy an embosser?

Ok, one more question, which is better, top orientation, which they say is for note paper, or bottom orientation, which is for envelope flaps. Which do you think I'll get more use out of, and which do you girls own?

Re: Where can I buy an embosser?

www.wedthings.com has some really nice ones.
Mine flips either way so I can use it on the back of an envelope or on stationary. Stef would know what that is called. I want a monogram one next.

Re: Where can I buy an embosser?

My embosser is bottom oriented.

I guess it depends on your needs. Ive used it for envelopes mostly so bottom works best for me but if you plan on embossing your stationary from the top (you could do it from the bottom too of course), then you need the top.

I embossed some napkins with our monogram since I already owned it using the bottom orientation.

Re: Where can I buy an embosser?

I figured I should order the bottom oriented one, just wanted the opinion of someone who actually owns one before I bought the wrong one. I love the look of those napkins, now I really can't wait! I'm afraid everything I own is going to have our initials on it by the time I'm done :)

Re: Where can I buy an embosser?

Check out www.Martha Stewart.com...

Do a search for embossers and they should come up. She has a few different types. I love any thing embossed...Good Luck!
