I've decided that I'm going to do diy cp's for our eparty in June. I think I want all gerbers... but I may change my mind once I see other things. Where can I buy flowers in bulk? Thanx
hmmm i know u can probably find somewhee in the city, but im a suffolk girl so my answer to everything when the word bullk is attached is costco. id give them a call.

Costco has flowers you can buy in bulk and you can order online and they will deliver to your house...
I would go to the wholesale flower district, amazing prices too...IF you buy roses i remember seeing great prices, two dozen for $15...also all the other flowers you get a good price

Since we are not business owners, will we have a problem finding somoene to sell to us? It will definitely be worth the trip if it won't be an issue. I would hate to get there, see stuff I love and not be able to have it!!!

Since we are not business owners, will we have a problem finding somoene to sell to us? It will definitely be worth the trip if it won't be an issue. I would hate to get there, see stuff I love and not be able to have it!!!
No not at all, thats where i bought flowers for my e-party and im not a business owner, plus there were people coming in just to buy flowers for their house, getting one arrangement of flowers. They were very accomodating to me, and anyone can come in and buy them. Just so you know though they close early, so if you go on a weekend get there in the morning, alot of places close at 2pm, but its better to even get there before 11am, because when i went alot of the flowers were already put away and it was around 12:30-1pm

I was there on Tuesday and a lot of the places had signs on their doors saying they only sell to those with a resale license, etc.. I was kind of in a rush and didn't get to stop in too many places, but could you tell me where you went for your e-party??

Just go in trust me, I went in to just about every store up and down 6th ave, from 26-29th street, nobody said anything at all, never asked me for anything and like i said i did buy my flowers for my e-party there in february and I do not own a business or have a resale license...And like i said there were people who came in just to get a dozen roses or a small arrangement for their houses. I went to unlimited tropical, i think that was the name of it lol, this was on 28th and 6th ave, on the block of mcdonalds just a few stores down.

Ooo just so you know you might have to pick them up a few days before...The reason why is bc depending on what flower you get you might have to wait until they bloom...alot of flowers come closed, I bought amaryllis flowers and had to pick them up 3 days before, and keep them in my house and take care of them for 3 days.

Thanks for the info!!! We'll go in a few weeks to check it out and decide what flowers we like then go back to pick everything up the day before the e-party.
