Your local post office should have a wedding package that come with the 60 cent stamps for the invitation and the 39 cent stamps for the response....the ones I got for my e-party invitations were awesome...

---

question? so a 60 cent stamp should be put on the invitation itself then? and then the regular 39 is on the small response card?....im gonna be mailing out invites and the info is much appreciated

The wedding pack at the post office contains 20 $.63 stamps and 20 $.39 stamps. I believe the $.63 stamp will mail up to 2 oz so you need to check the weight of your invitation for the right postage before mailing it. The $.39 stamp is for the response card.

I know that the post office at Rockefeller Center in Manhattan has a great selection of stamps and they even have a seperate store so you dont have to wait on the long line to buy just stamps. Thats where i went last week.
