Where can I donate books in Suffolk?

Where can I donate books in Suffolk?

I don't want them to get thrown away, they're old but I can't let them waste and I have no room for them....

Old paperbacks, some old textbooks, some old hardcovers, etc.

I can always bring them to my public library but I don't know if there is a 'better' place per se.

You can donate them to the VA Hospital in Northport of a cancer hospice.

My cousin lives in MD, but he has a charity called books for babes, where they donate books to all sorts of shelters, nursing homes and hospitals. Website is www.booksforbabes.com.
