Something to put the gift cards in during our reception.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about.. boxes with a slot on top to put the cards?

I know lillian vernon had a cake to put your cards in and it was on sale for $19.99--thanks to someone posting the info. I ordered it and it is so adorable! Check out their website.

Linda's Lovelies rents boxes, birdcages & mailboxes. May be cheaper than buying because that's not really something you need to keep.
It would probably just collect dust in my garage!!!

just a suggestion from my stepmom...get a money bag and have someone in chage of it. when you get some envelopes, give them to the person. with those bird cage things and mailboxes, etc, it is very easy for someone to walk away with it, whereas if someone you trust is holding onto the bag, you are a bit safer. jmo...

Cocao, You sound just like my mom!! shes afraid of the exact same thing. Especially since there will be so much envelopes and money involved. She wants someone to hold a purse and collect the money and hold it close to them.
We might do that but the cake box looks so nice

I agree with cocoa. I've heard of people stealing the cards . My mom will be holding my bag.
You can also keep the box behind you and just put the cards in it as you collect them. I'm planning on keeping the gift table pretty close to us and my family. But I love the cake box!

I just went to order the cake box at Lillian Vernon, and it's discontinued. Can't get it no mo'.
Anyone know of something like this? Cheap, can be personalized maybe...?
