Century 21 , thats my fav store, when rainemama and i are in ny, we buy lots there and i see lots of suits.....good luck

Definitely try the Tanger outlets in Riverhead. There are a few stores with good prices on suits, including the ones already mentioned (Ann Taylor and Kasper). I got a really nice one at the Ann Klein outlet.

Do you have burlington Coat factories in LI? They have great suits, as does Marshalls occasionally and Daffy's. Great prices and good quality!!! The suit I get sooooo many compliments on every time I wear it is from marshalls and was about 100 bucks! Found BCBG shoes for 65 at Saks Outlet!! Lohmans alos has suits cheap!!

Dress Barn sells suits. They have a semi-annual suit sale, too. I know one is in the summer, not sure when (July maybe?). I've gotten a few there and they were made well and I had them for a long time, until my old job went business casual.
Or try Filene's or Loehman's or Burlington Coat Factory or Sym's.
