Where can I find a Judge?

Hi ladies, I hope you can help. I need to find a Judge, not a clergyman/woman. (Many people of different faiths will be attending our wedding). I haven't the slightest idea where to start!

You don't actually need a judge to marry you. If you want a judge, you can go to the Court houses and find one. I am an attorney and know some of the judges in Brooklyn and Manhattan personally. I don't know if they do weddings and if they do, how much they charge. You can also go to the municipal building in Brooklyn- on Joralemon Street in Brooklyn Heights and get married by their justice of the peace. I don't know if she travels, but you could ask.

There are a few in particular I can think of that are nice guys or charachters. What are you looking for? But like I said, I only know them as being an attorney in front of them for work. I don't know if they do weddings or anything like that.

check out clergy section, there are many interfaith officiants that can attend to your need. we are not haveing a reglious ceremony. the person we found practices all major beliefs (kinda hard to understand) but she knows them all etc.... don't be afraid to call them or limit to just judges

I know a couple of judges who perform weddings, but to tell you the truth, they usually dont book for more than 6-9mos ahead. FM me if your interested.
